Kids
We adore your little ones and can't wait for a lifetime of fun with them... but on this occasion we lovingly request that they're left to sleep while you dance the night away. Newborns are of course welcome and there will be a secluded space to get away from the frivolity if required. On arrival, please just ask a staff member if you need to use the space.
If for the sake of your newborn or for any other reason you would like to join us for the ceremony only (and leave before the main meal which will start at approximately 5:30), just let us know - absolutely no hard feelings, do what you've gotta do!
Transport and Arrival
Getting to Le Meridien is a piece of cake. The address is 20 Bourke Street. Parliament Station is an easy 2 minute walk and trams stop right out the front. There is (pricey) parking available at the hotel or First Parking a 4 minute walk away at 34-60 Little Collins Street.
Once you get to Le Meridien, you'll see a sign for Dolly within the hotel lobby (or the friendly staff will be able to guide you). You're welcome to head downstairs from 3:00pm. If you're a bit early, grab a drink in the lobby!
If you arrive after 3:30pm (highly do not recommend) then please let the staff know and they'll guide you to a back entry. Running down the stairs after this time is not a vibe.
Attire
The dress code is Black Tie.
If it helps, most men will be wearing black suits with black bow ties while women will largely be wearing midi-floor length dresses, but we encourage you to wear whatever you're comfortable in and your best dancing shoes!
There will be a coat check available once you get to Dolly.
